Bella Bar ''Going Green'' Laundry Detergent Recipe |
Posted: April 3, 2012 |
Ingredients:
Steps: 1. Grate one entire Bella Bar using a cheese or similar type grater. 2. Place grated Bella bar in a large ziploc bag along with 1 cup 20 Mule Team Borax and 1 cup Arm & Hammer Soda Wash. Mix well. For laundry, use 1 to 2 tablespoons (depending on load size). It doesn't seem like much, but it is plenty. This will not suds up like regular soap. You will not have any soap residue left on your clothes and they come out very clean and fresh smelling! Think of the money you will save from not having to buy commercial laundry detergent anymore. I was skeptical when I first tried this, but was pleasantly surprised to see my clothes were clean and fresh smelling all with only 2 tablespoons of this easy to make detergent. Whichever soap or detergent you use, please READ THE LABEL. Check out the ingredients in it and get as close to chemical free as you can. Once you've tried this, I'd love to hear your feedback. Comments are welcome. To purchase the Bella Bars, you may visit It Makes Scents.
